THE SECOND PHASE OF CLEARING THE TERRAIN OF THE TURJAK SKI TRACK HAS BEEN STARTED

Yesterday, the second phase of clearing the terrain of the "Turjak II" ski track, which should welcome the first skiers on its slopes this winter, began.

The contractors of the first and second phases are companies and individuals from Rožaj, and the works are proceeding according to the planned plan and respecting the deadlines.

After the last phase of clearing the vegetation, removing roots and leveling the path, the removal of old and worn out traction cables, reels and holders will be started, in order to make it as easy as possible to control and repair the poles as well as the traction stations.

In addition, work will also be done on the rehabilitation of access roads and parking areas in order to create the best possible conditions for the smooth and safe functioning of that part.

The President of the Municipality, Ejup Nurković, with his colleagues, visited the field today, and got to know more about the dynamics of work and the feasibility of the rehabilitation project.

The citizens of Rožaj, who have a sporting spirit and skiing habits, are eagerly waiting for Turjak to come alive again in its new glory.
