The reconstruction of the local road towards the Rožaj village of Balotiće has begun
About 1,500 locals for a better quality of life
Today, the rehabilitation of the local road towards the Rožaj village of Balotiće began. It is a local road with a total length of about 15 km. and the value of the project is around 2.5 million euros.
According to Mirsad Džudžević, director of the Directorate for Construction and Investments, the implementation of the first phase is underway, which includes the reconstruction and paving of 1.5 km. times, with a total value of 204,000 euros.
- Since it is a very expensive project, it will be implemented in stages over the next two or three years. The first phase, which is ongoing, envisages the construction of 1.5 km. times the width of the carriageway 3 m. with gutters and drainage channels and asphalting. That part of the work should be completed in about 15 days. If the weather permits, we plan to start the second phase, which is somewhat more demanding in terms of construction and finance, and the continuation of the work is planned for next spring, Džudžević said.
The workshop was visited by Ejup Nurković, the President of the Municipality with his associates and expressed his satisfaction with the beginning of the implementation of the valuable project.
- The reconstruction of this local road is being implemented within the municipal investment program for this year. We expect that with the planned reconstruction and asphalting of this road, conditions will be created for a better quality of life for about 1,500 locals in this area, but also that this will enable faster development of agriculture and the creation of new jobs in that area. We also hope that migration from this area will stop and that the locals will find an interest in staying at their hearths and developing their own business, said Nurković.
The works are carried out by the construction company from Novi Pazar, AD "Novi Pazar Put".
