Asphalting of the road towards Balotići has begun

The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Mr. Ejup Nurković, with his colleagues, the director of the Directorate for Construction and Investments, Mr. Mirsad Džudžević, and Mr. Emir Kurtagić, the director of the Agency for Design and Development, visited the works on the reconstruction and modernization of the road towards Balotići.

Director of the Directorate for Construction and Investments in the Municipality of Rožaje, Mirsad Džudžević, told us:

In 2015, works were contracted with the "Novi Pazar put" company on the reconstruction and modernization of the road to the Rožaj village of Balotiće. Two phases with a total value of EUR 640,000 were contracted, the total contracted length of the road for reconstruction and modernization is 6.2 km. Asphalting of the 4.0 km long road began today, and the next 2.2 km road is expected next week.

Emir Kurtagić, director of the Agency for Design and Development, told us:

The works are carried out in accordance with the adopted project documentation and the planned dynamics. The minimum road width is 3.0 m, vertical and horizontal signage.

Complete completion of the works is expected in August of this year.
