SUPPORTED AT LEAST 13 PROJECTS FROM ROJA IN THE FRAMEWORK OF IPARD-LIKE 1

Today, contracts on the grant of non-reimbursable support within the IPARD-like 1 project - Investments in agricultural holdings were signed at a ceremony held in Šipčanik on the 13th. July", Podgorica. The ceremony was attended by representatives of all approved projects, representatives of the Government of Montenegro, representatives of municipalities, as well as all banks in Montenegro, and the permanent representative of the World Bank in Montenegro - Mrs. Tatiana Proskuryakova, the head of the European Union delegation in Montenegro, Ambassador Mitja Drobnič, and Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Petar Ivanović.

On behalf of the municipality of Rožaje, the ceremony was attended by the secretary of the Secretariat for Agriculture, Tourism and Water Management, Mr. Mersad Šutković, and the advisor for developing development projects, Ms. Amela Kalender. The representatives of the municipality met with the grant winners from Rožaj and agreed to continue providing technical assistance in the implementation of projects.

A total of 291 projects were supported in all regions of Montenegro, of which at least 13 were from Rožaj. More information about the supported projects will be available to the public in the coming period.

IPARD-like 1 is part of the EU/IPA project of building institutions in agriculture and rural development in Montenegro, which is financed by the European Union within the Instrument of Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA), and co-financed by the Government of Montenegro. The project is implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in cooperation with the World Bank.
