Increased inspection supervision, citizens to respect the measures to avoid quarantine

Members of the health and sanitary inspection have been on the ground since early morning and supervise the implementation of temporary protection measures against the corona virus in the premises of institutions, catering and other public facilities.

The director of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs, Alija Košuta, on the order of the National Coordination Body, in the next 10 days will organize the increased work of the department headed by her in order to adequately implement the adopted recommendations in Rožaje to prevent the further spread of the infection.

According to the current knowledge of Košuta and the President of the Municipality Rahman Husović, the citizens generally respect the temporary protection measures and are ready to cooperate with the authorities in order to fully implement them.

Husović and Košuta called on citizens to continue following the recommendations of the NKT in order to stop the further spread of the virus and avoid the introduction of quarantine.

Epidemiological services are actively collecting samples of people who have been in contact with the infected and testing them for the presence of the Covid-19 virus.

Utility workers are disinfecting public areas. Protective masks were obtained and distributed to citizens and employees of institutions.

Border policemen and soldiers perform increased control at the borders and all alternative crossings to neighboring countries are closed.
