The American ambassador and the president of the municipality of Rožaje opened a dairy market
Today, the American ambassador to Montenegro, Sue K. Brown, visited the municipality of Rožaje. During the visit, Ambassador Braun met with the mayor of Rožaj and his associates, who informed her about the overall economic situation in the Municipality, as well as potentials and resources that are of particular importance for its development.
After the official meeting with the President of the Municipality and his associates, the Ambassador and the President opened a milk market in Rožaje.
The US government, through the Economic Development Project of the American Agency for International Development (USAID), and in cooperation with the Municipality of Rožaje, helped improve the infrastructure of the dairy market in Rožaje. The partnership project cost 57,996 dollars, of which USAID invested 21,213 dollars and the Municipality of Rožaje 36,783 dollars. The municipality of Rožaje built a completely new dairy market facility, and USAID's Economic Development Project provided a new ventilation system, refrigerated display cases and other necessary equipment.
After that, Ambassador Brown and Mayor Nusret Kalač addressed the citizens and the media.
