The foundation stone for the Home for neglected children in Rožaje was laid

On Saturday in Rožaje, the beginning of the construction of the first orphanage, i.e. Home for neglected children, in Montenegro was marked.

The foundation stone was ceremonially laid by the President of the Municipality of Rožaje Ejup Nurković and the President of the Islamic Community in Montenegro Rifat ef. Fejzic.

Nurković expressed his satisfaction because he has the opportunity to help in the construction of a very important building for the citizens of Rožaj, stressing that he will continue to support such and similar projects in the future. He also emphasized the multiple importance both for children without one or both parents, as well as for citizens, because this construction opens up opportunities for new jobs.

The orphanage will be built through the Office for Foreign Relations of Meshihat IZ, which is headed by Omer ef. Kajoshaj.

The foundation stone laying ceremony was attended by representatives of the Municipality of Rožaje, representatives of the Islamic community, as well as representatives of the public, cultural and political life of the Municipality of Rožaje.
