Signed Protocol on business cooperation for 2015 with IRF
The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković, and the President of the Board of Directors of the Investment and Development Fund of Montenegro, Dr. Zoran Vukčević, today signed the Protocol on Business Cooperation for 2015 in the premises of the Municipality of Rožaje, which will contribute to more favorable economic conditions and the development of the overall business in the territory of the municipality. Rozaje.
The protocol defines cooperation in the implementation of IRF credit lines, so that IRF will finance projects on very favorable terms, and the Municipality of Rožaje will provide loan beneficiaries with professional support and various types of subsidies and assistance.
The primary goal of signing the Protocol on Business Cooperation is the opening of new credit lines for entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the provision of subsidies by the local administration for the creation of new jobs in order to stop population migration to European Union countries.
The delegation of the Investment and Development Fund of Montenegro has been in Rožaje for two days and held a series of meetings both with local government officials and with businessmen and citizens who want to be beneficiaries of IRF loan services.
The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković thanked the IRF delegation for the time and energy invested in explaining to citizens how to apply for this type of credit support, expressing his belief that the citizens of Rožaje will be responsible during the application itself, as well as after the loan is approved.
"The local administration of Rožaje is at the disposal of all citizens who are interested in credit support from the IRF, this especially applies to employees in the local Business Center, which serves as a link between local institutions and the IRF. Our common goal is to encourage citizens to start independent businesses and create new jobs. I expect from citizens responsibility and dedication to the started business, because these are essential elements of success in business," Nurković pointed out.
According to Mr. Vukčević, this Protocol defined the ways of interaction between the local government and the IRF, whereby the local government of Rožaje will provide guarantees for projects of importance to the citizens of Rožaje and for the development of entrepreneurship. The projects will be divided into 4 groups: projects for the development of agriculture, development of existing companies, new projects - with new and innovative ideas, and projects related to the development of infrastructure, environmental protection and energy. The IRF delegation came in full composition in order to present to the submitters of the already submitted projects the shortcomings in the projects, which should be fixed in the coming period in order to meet the criteria of the Investment and Development Fund of Montenegro.
IRF operates in the market as a bank, which obliges them to take into account to whom and under what conditions they give credit funds and how much the business that needs to be supported is justified, because the funds must be returned to international credit institutions every 1st of the month.
