Agreement on the twinning of the municipalities of Rožaje and Ilidža was signed

Rožaje and Ilidža are sister municipalities. On September 5, 2019, Presidents Senaid Memić and Ejup Nurković signed the Twinning Agreement in Rožaje in the presence of delegations consisting of representatives of two local governments as well as representatives of Rožaje parliamentary parties.

At the meeting, which preceded the signing of the Agreement, it was concluded that the act of twinning will strengthen the traditionally good cooperation between Rožaj and Ilidža, and that it will open opportunities for the exchange of experiences in the field of economy and culture. The initiative for the Agreement came from the citizens of that Bosnian municipality whose origin is from Rožaj.

The twinning agreement will soon be ratified in the local parliaments, and the Rožaje Municipality has received approval for its signing from the competent ministry. Guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina also visited Plav, Gusinje and Petnjica.
