The Agreement on cooperation between the City of Kutahya (Turkey) and the Municipality of Rožaje was signed
In Rožaje (December 26, 2014), the Agreement on Cooperation between the City of Kutahya and the Municipality of Rožaje was signed. The agreement represents the beginning of cooperation between the two municipalities, the next step will be twinning. The visit of the delegation from the Municipality of Kutahya (Turkey) to Rozajam was composed of: Governor of Kutahya Province, Mr. Serif YILMAZ, Galip Kultekin - Deputy President of the Municipality of Kutahya and recognizable businessmen in the field of ceramics production, agriculture (chicken farming), tourism, glass production - Ismet Gural, Ahmet Acar and Ahmet Bas.
The agreement was signed by the President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Ejup Nurković, and the Deputy President of the Municipality of Kutahya, Mr. Galip Gultekin. According to the signatories of the Agreement, this is an important step in strengthening relations between the two municipalities and between the two peoples, which will facilitate investments and joint projects in the future.
The agreement on cooperation between the two municipalities, among other things, provides for mutual progress to be achieved through the exchange of experiences. This document envisages cooperation in the fields of economy, economy, tourism, culture, education and sports, as well as in other areas of activity for which there is a common interest and need, and as stated, cooperation will be established between other institutions founded by the municipality. signatories to the agreement.
After the signing of this Agreement, the adoption of the final decision on the twinning of the Municipality of Rožaje and the Municipality of Kutahya will be verified at the municipal assemblies.
The two-day visit of the delegation from Turkey was accompanied by meetings with local officials and coalition partners (SDP), during which the experiences of the municipalities were exchanged and possibilities for future cooperation were discussed, which would benefit both municipalities.
The Turkish delegation visited the city museum "Ganića Kula" after the Juma prayer. The guests also visited the former factories of Dekor, Kristal, the water factory Aqua plus, agricultural producers who want to expand their capacities, giving suggestions for future cooperation. Businessmen from Turkey invited local agricultural producers to be guests of Kutahya municipality, in order to see the way and organization of farms for raising chickens and livestock. It was said that they will send projects from Turkey as soon as possible so that our manufacturers can have an insight into their business and follow their example of work and standards. All meetings and working bodies were of a positive nature, giving hope for better cooperation between municipalities.
The President of the Municipality of Rožaje with his associates was invited to return to the Municipality of Kutahya in order to continue cooperation.
