President Husović held a working meeting with managers in local self-government

Today, President Rahman Husović held a working meeting with managers of the local self-government sector and directors of companies and institutions founded by the Municipality, which was attended by the President of the local parliament, Almir Avdić, with his associates and the chief administrator, Irma Selmanović.

During the first working meeting of this year, the work of local self-government bodies was analyzed and the ways that lead to maximum efficiency in the performance of work tasks were determined.
At the very beginning of his speech, President Husović emphasized the importance of achieving a high level of internal coordination, noting that at the same time, we should strive to strengthen cooperation with citizens and be more open to their demands.
In the future, the municipality will prepare development projects in numerous areas that will be offered to potential domestic and foreign investors, and this task will be approached seriously in order to start the planned procedures in that area in accordance with the stipulated deadlines, it was pointed out.
 The preparation of the Draft Strategic Plan for the development of the municipality for the next five years was also announced, which will specifically treat the field of tourism, for the development of which, as it was said, conditions are being improved. 
Work at all levels of local self-government must be in accordance with the law and ensure financial stability, higher revenue collection, return on investments, as well as better living conditions for citizens, are some of the conclusions from the meeting.
In order to quickly and efficiently respond to work challenges, employees in the local administration must further develop the acquired knowledge and skills by raising the level of IT literacy and knowledge of foreign languages while simultaneously implementing the digitization process, the attendees concluded.
