President Husović received a high award from the Serbian Orthodox Church

The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Rahman Husović, together with his colleagues, today, September 24, attended the assembly on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Ružice Church and the consecration of the icon painting.
On that occasion, the Orthodox bishop of the Diocese of Buda-Niksi, Mr. Metodije, presented the President with a high commendation from the Diocese for the work and love he showed to the Church Municipality of Rožaje and towards the restoration of the Cathedral in Rožaje.

President Husović thanked for such a significant award, which confirms that multi-ethnic and multicultural harmony lives in our city. He emphasized that the local self-government, in accordance with its capabilities, is making efforts to improve the status of all religious communities in our city.

Such and similar events remind us that we must continue with interpersonal respect and in further action make our municipality more prosperous together.
