The President of the Municipality visits flood-affected areas day and night

The president of the municipality with his associates, visits the terrain and flooded areas and talks with the locals in order to get to know the new situation as well as possible. 

Today they visited the area of Biševo, Muković, Sinanović Luka, Bukovica, Paučina and Grahovo. The damages are evident, and the first man of the municipality, Mr. Ejup Nurković, says:  

"We are doing our best to repair the damage caused by the floods that hit our municipality. The crisis headquarters and other teams are constantly on the ground, as is the commission for determining the damage caused. All the available machinery is also on the ground and we are trying to repair the road infrastructure and return the bridges to their original condition, because some places are cut off from the rest of the road communication. During the week, we will make a detailed analysis and assessment of the damage and contact the relevant institutions, as we announced earlier. On this occasion, I am asking the citizens to be in solidarity, help each other, and to be understanding if they waited longer than the scheduled time for certain interventions, because we did not have the technical capabilities to act on all flood-affected areas at the same time. We will continue to visit the field day and night and, therefore, to work on repairing the damage".  

The director of Predizeća doo Vodovod i Kanalizacija, Mrs. Idrija Duraković, also intervened today in a conversation with the locals and drew up a plan of further action, so that the life of the locals in the flood-affected areas would return to normal as soon as possible.
