The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Mr. Ejup Nurković, together with the President of the SO Rožaje, Mr. Husejin Kurtagić, and his colleagues, visited the Primary School "Dacići" in Dacići, where he talked with the director of this institution, Hadžija Lajći, and the educators on the topic of improving working conditions in this school. as well as the development of project documentation for the construction of a new school in the same place.

The director of the school, Hadžija Ljaić (Haxhi Lajći), in his speech, thanked the mayor and his colleagues for visiting the school, and for the efforts of the local administration to help this institution get the basic conditions for work because it does not even have drinking water.

The president of the municipality, Mr. Ejup Nurković, promised that the local administration, headed by him, will do an implementation project so that the school will get drinking water, as well as an implementation solution and a project for the construction of a new school.

In addition, the president of the municipality emphasized that quality education requires quality conditions for teaching, and that directors and teachers, as well as local administration and state institutions and competent ministries, should work on this in a synchronized manner.

He also praised the work and commitment of director Lajći, who in a short time of performing the director's function, managed to visibly improve the working conditions and renovate the work premises.

At the end of the meeting, further joint action and advocacy was agreed, so that this school, the only one in the Albanian language in Rožaje, would get adequate conditions for work, which, in addition to education, will reduce the migration of the Albanian population towards Kosovo due to better conditions of basic education.
