The president of the municipality visited the works on the rehabilitation of the pedestrian crossing "Colorado"

The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Mr. Ejup Nurković, visited the works on the rehabilitation of the "Colorado" pedestrian crossing.

- The President of the Municipality, among other things, said that the rehabilitation of the mentioned passage was included in the priorities last year, bearing in mind the importance of this pedestrian zone, which is primarily used by students, both those who attend Elementary School "Mustafa Pećanin" as well as high school and high school students. The renovation was done with high-quality and durable materials that are resistant to salt and moisture to make it last longer. In the second phase, the plan is to build a footbridge (pedestrian bridge) over the Jadranska magistral with a ramp for people with disabilities.

According to the statement of the director of the Directorate for Investments, Mirsad Džudžević, the renovation and reconstruction of the metal structure and the roof covering itself, which includes painting and cleaning with special treatment of those parts susceptible to corrosion, are being carried out.

Also. A complete reconstruction of the reinforced concrete staircase with special concrete treated with additives resistant to salt and rice is being done, as well as the complete zone from the direction of the city to the staircase itself, where the "behaton" panels are being replaced. In addition, horizontal and vertical signaling will be done according to all standards for the safety of pedestrians in traffic.
