President of Rožaje Municipality, Ejup Nurković at a meeting with Prime Minister Marković

The Cabinet of the Prime Minister, in cooperation with the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, will provide the necessary support in the adoption of planning documentation, which is the basis for the implementation of development projects in the North - it was concluded at a meeting with representatives of the municipalities of the Northern Region and the Public Works Administration, which was organized in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Duško Marković .

Focusing on the timely adoption of planning documentation as a condition for the successful implementation of development policies is a confirmation that the Government understands the needs of cities and local communities from the North - this is the assessment from the meeting.

There have never been more funds for the infrastructural development of the north and the country as a whole. That is why it is necessary for municipalities to contribute to the implementation of the Government's development policies.

With our support, municipalities that face the challenges of adopting plans, in the coming period, will fit planning documents into the valid normative framework - this is the message of the Cabinet of Prime Minister Duško Marković.

The meeting was attended by the presidents or representatives of the municipalities of Rožaje, Andrijevica, Berane, Bijelo Polje, Gusinje, Plava, Plužine, Pljevlja, Šavnik and Žabljak, as well as the director of the Public Works Administration.
