The President of the Municipality on a working visit to the Prime Minister of Montenegro

The development of the Northern region is a priority of the Government, working together on concrete projects

Congratulating the citizens of Rožaj on behalf of the Government and on his own behalf, the Prime Minister reminded that one of the Government's priorities is the development of the Northern region as the biggest resource of Montenegro and reiterated the Government's readiness to work together with local self-governments on concrete projects that contribute to improving the business environment, increasing employment and raising the standards and quality of life of citizens.

Informing the Prime Minister about the current situation in Rožaje, the Municipality Management presented several concrete ideas aimed at valorizing resources and overcoming existing challenges. The President of the Municipality of Rožaje assessed, among other things, that the opening of the business zone could represent a significant impulse for attracting investments.

It was concluded that the Government and relevant ministries together with the management of Rožaj through direct contacts in the coming period will find the best solutions for concretizing business ideas and overcoming existing challenges.

The meeting was also attended by the Secretary for Finance of the Municipality of Rožaje Armin Mujevic.
