THE PRESIDENT OF THE MUNICIPALITY HOSTED THE RECTOR OF THE BALKAN UNIVERSITY

The Rector of the Balkan University from Skopje, Mr. Ismail Kocayusufoğlu, visited the local administration of Rožaje with his first associate, Vice-Rector Šener Bilaliye, and the President of the Mejlis IZ in Rožaje, Ernad ef. Ramović. The meeting was attended by the President of the Rožaje Municipality Assembly, Mr. Husein Kurtagić, as well as Senad Mujević, Director of the Bosniak Information Center.

 

The President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Mr. Ejup Nurković, in his words of welcome, thanked the Rector of the University, Mr. Ismail Kodžajusufoglu, for the good treatment and quality education of our students who chose "Balkan University" in Skopje, stressing the importance of quality education and that the Local Government has in plan for Rožaje to get a higher education institution so that we can strategically train high-quality staff who would implement their knowledge in order to better realize and valorize the natural potential that Rožaje possesses. First of all, I mean the wood industry, agriculture, animal husbandry and tourism. We, as a Local Government in cooperation with state institutions, are ready for this type of cooperation and we believe that together we can start this idea that will be of great benefit to Rožaje and to the wider society and to you as a highly educational institution with an enviable background. Nurković said.

 

The rector of "Balkan University", Mr. Jusufolu, first of all thanked for the warm welcome and emphasized that the children from Rožaj are particularly talented, and this is a reflection of good upbringing and good parents and healthy families, which is the basis and foundation of every other superstructure of an individual. As a higher education institution, we are ready to consider all possibilities in starting higher education in the Municipality of Rožaje. 

 

The President of the Assembly, Mr. Husejin Kurtagić, also expressed a warm welcome and emphasized the importance of connection and joint coordination in order to raise the quality of higher education.

 

At the conclusion of this visit, continuity in communication was agreed upon in the negotiations with the aim of motivating young people towards science and education and creating the preconditions for the opening of a visual education institution in Rožaje.

 

It is worth emphasizing that the "Balkan University" in Skopje is an institution with a very enviable quality of education and that professors with respectable educational careers work in it.

 

In addition, graduates who stand out in particular are given the opportunity to be employed at the aforementioned university, where four assistants from Rožaj currently work, for whom the respected rector, Mr. Jusuf Kodžajusufoglu, spares no words of praise.

 

The president of the municipality, Mr. Ejup Nurković, ended the meeting with the words: "Education equals the future, equals a stable society and a stable state." As a sign of appreciation and attention, they exchanged modest gifts, and together they visited the "MEHMED FATIH" madrasa and the newly opened JU kindergarten, which was opened thanks to TIKA's donations.
