President Rahman Husović: We will strengthen cooperation with the diaspora

The President of the municipality of Rožaje Rahman Husović hosted a reception today for our fellow citizens who live and work abroad and who spend the January holidays in their hometown with their families, neighbors and friends.

The traditional gathering with members of the diaspora was attended by the Vice President of the Government of Montenegro for Regional Development and the leader of the Bosniak Party, Rafet Husović, the head of the Islamic Community, Rifat ef. Fejzić, Member of Parliament Ervin Ibrahimović, heads of state and municipal departments, and other guests. 

"Meetings with our respected diaspora are always filled with a sense of joy and community. It is an honor to be associated with people who, thanks solely to their own work, are recognized in Europe and the world as successful businessmen and business people in general", said the first man of the municipality of Rožaje. Our brothers and friends who live and work abroad have never forgotten their birthplace. , therefore, deserve a special place in the hearts of individuals and the gratitude of the entire community, added President Rahman Husović.

It was announced at the meeting that in the coming period, the local self-government will make a special effort to further strengthen cooperation with the diaspora both in the field of joint investments and in the sphere of affirmation and preservation of cultural heritage.
