President of the SO Almir Avdić attended the celebration of the Albanian Flag Day in Tirana

The President of the Rožaje Municipality Assembly, Almir Avdić, attended yesterday the event that was held in Tirana on the occasion of marking the Albanian Flag Day on November 28.

After the central stceremony which, in the Palace of the President, brought together numerous officials and representatives of the political and cultural life of Albania and the countries of the region, the president of that country, Ilir Meta, organized a close meeting of representatives of individual states and municipalities, among whom was the president of the Rožaj parliament, Almir Avdić.

Delighted with the overall preparation of the event and the welcome shown by the officials of Albania, Avdić, in talks with President Ilir Meta and other representatives of the state authorities of Albania and Kosovo, once again received confirmation of the traditionally good relations between Rožaj and Montenegro with the two republics. The interlocutors agreed that work should continue to improve these relations, primarily through concrete forms of cooperation both in the economic and cultural spheres, the end result of which will be an advanced social climate in the region based on the universal values of democracy.

Avdić, on behalf of the leadership and all citizens of the municipality of Rožaje, expressed his heartfelt congratulations to all members of the Albanian nationality on the occasion of celebrating Flag Day, a date which, as he assessed in the congratulatory card, confirms the national identity of Albanians, which, even in the current social moment, has remained preserved.
