The President of Rožaje Municipality, Almir Avdić, hosted the President of Albania, Ilir Meta

On November 24, 2018, the President of the Rožaje Municipality, Almir Avdić, received the President of Albania, Mr. Iljira Meta. The delegation with the President of Albania included the Ambassador of Albania to Montenegro, Ridi Kurtezi, as well as advisers to the President of Albania. On the occasion of the arrival of the President of Albania, the reception was also attended by the Vice President of the Government of Montenegro Rafet Husović, Minister in the Government of Montenegro Osman Nurković, Member of the Parliament of Montenegro Ervin Ibrahimović, Advisor to the President of Montenegro Amer Halilović and Director of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs Alija Košuta. In a very cordial conversation, they noted the good relationship between the two countries, as well as the satisfaction that the President of Albania is in Rožaje for the first time. Possible cooperation and twinning of the municipality of Rožaje with some of the municipalities from Albania was also announced. After the meeting in the Municipality building, the delegation stayed at the Culture Center for the "Ore e malleve" event. On the second day of the delegation's visit, the President of Albania visited the primary school in Dacići together with the President of the Rožaje Municipality. Due to the generous reception Mr. Iljir Meta invited the president of SO Rožaje to visit official Tirana with the Municipality's delegation.
