Today, we celebrate Independence Day as a country that is a member of the NATO alliance and that is on the threshold of the European Union - the society of the most advanced European states. Years of success are behind us, and ahead of us is the continuation of safe walking along the European path, with the aspiration towards social progress.

Montenegro is our common house, where we are all together, all equal and all on our own. That value that we inherit must never be threatened, because it is one of the pillars of our statehood and independence.
In that name, I congratulate you on May 21 - Independence Day of Montenegro.
