The construction of the Rožaje - Štedim road, which is a prerequisite for the start of work on the new ski center at Hajla in the Rožaje municipality, is entering its final phase.
As part of the fifth, final segment of the construction of this road, for which the Government of Montenegro provided nearly 1.1 million euros, the workers of the construction company "Tofi" from Rožaj broke through the last 1.2 kilometers and reached the Štedim location, where the base is planned station with accompanying facilities and equipment for the cable car.
The dynamics of the works, which started at the end of June, are currently in accordance with the contractual obligations, so it is expected that soon all 7.2 kilometers of the road will be ready for asphalting. The construction of concrete culverts across the river Crnja is underway, and if the weather permits, it is possible that an asphalt layer will be installed by the end of the year.
On July 1, the Public Works Administration signed a contract with the Sarajevo company "Strucon" on the development of the Conceptual Solution, the Main Project and the construction of a six-seater collapsible cable car in the Hajla location, according to the "design and build" principle, and the creation of the Conceptual Solution of the ski slopes, worth nine million euros. For the complete investment, including access roads and other facilities, the Government will allocate around 16 million euros over the next three years.
