The government will provide assistance to the citizens of Rožaj
Citizens are invited to respect the measures
The current epidemiological situation in Rožaje is worrisome and at this moment the main priority is to preserve people's health, it was announced today at the meeting of the Vice President of the Government of Montenegro Rafet Husović, director of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs Alije Košute and the President of the Municipality of Rožaje Rahman Husović.
President of the Municipality Rahman Husovic in the introductory part of the meeting, he spoke about the new circumstances in Rožaje and expressed optimism when it comes to overcoming the current health challenge. He introduced the Deputy Prime Minister and the Director of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs to the actions of the Municipal Protection and Rescue Team in order to suppress the infection, stressing that the future course of the situation will depend mostly on the personal and collective discipline of citizens.
Deputy Prime Minister, Rafet Husovic said he called on the citizens to be responsible and said that the State will provide them with all the necessary help.
"Citizens must be responsible. If we are responsible during these seven days, I believe that we will slowly emerge from this very difficult epidemiological situation. Recommendation and appeal to all citizens to protect ourselves, to protect ourselves from others and vice versa", the Deputy Prime Minister told the media after the meeting.
He added that the spread of the virus has stopped economic activities and that the Government and its institutions will make an effort in the direction of Rožaj's economic recovery.
"I am sure that we will succeed at the level of the Government and state institutions to help so that certain, possible financial damage is compensated after the end of this unfortunate epidemiological situation", said Husovic.
During the meeting, the effectiveness of competent institutions in the days of the current health challenge was highlighted and models of future cooperation between NKT and the Municipal Protection and Rescue Team in the field of further assistance to citizens were defined.
Regret was also expressed for the events in Novi Pazar, Tutin and Sjenica, with the expectation that the citizens of the Sandžak region will soon overcome the crisis.
