IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INVESTMENT PROGRAM FOR 2013

The President of the Municipality visited today with his colleagues the construction of city streets in the Banžovo brdo settlement and the rural road in Bašča Municipality.

Together with the Directorate of Public Works of Montenegro, in a partnership relationship, the construction of several city streets in the Banžovo brdo settlement is underway, where manholes and culverts are currently being repaired, and after that activity, buffering and asphalting of them will be carried out. This year, in this way, we will do about 2.5 km of city streets in Rožaje, which until now have been a serious problem both for citizens and for their maintenance by utility companies.

The work is fast-tracked and these days the asphalting of the village road in the Bašča Municipality will be completed in a length of 2.5 km, the funds have been provided entirely from the Capital Budget of the Municipality of Rožaje. In the coming days, we will try to provide the necessary funds together with the Directorate of Public Works for the rehabilitation of previously completed sections of this road, so that it as a whole can be used in an adequate way, both for the locals who live in that area and for other citizens of the municipality of Rožaje who be able to use this road.
