Rožaje: A session of the Municipal Team and NKT was held

The epidemiological situation in Rožaje is complex and can only be overcome by the united action of competent institutions and citizens, with respect for the rules and the profession, is one of the messages from the session of the Municipal Team for Protection and Rescue that was held on July 9, which was also attended by the head of the Operational Staff Vesna Miranović, Ph.D, members of NKT Osman Nurković and Luka Bulatović, as well as doctors Nebojsa Kavarić and Omer Šahmanović.

At the meeting, after considering the current circumstances and data from the field, the obligations and tasks that should be implemented at the local level in the coming period in order to prevent the further spread of the virus were defined.

One of the conclusions is that in the coming days, monitoring of compliance with self-isolation measures should be strengthened, and that the outcome of the current health situation will depend on the discipline of citizens. It was also ordered that the Health Center in Rožaje is equipped to a satisfactory extent, and that the work of that health facility, during the past five days, has been reorganized and intensified. Covid clinics were formed and separated from the sectors where non-infected patients stay.

President of the Municipality Rahman Husovic , thanked NKT for the support that, as he said, it continuously provides to the Municipal Team. He also pointed out that the working stay of the doctors of the Crisis Medical Staff in Rožaje instills additional confidence in the health system of Montenegro. At the same time, he once again called on citizens to respect preventive measures. Husović also said that the State and local self-government have enough capacity to provide support to every citizen who is in self-isolation and that in the coming period, work in that area will be additionally intensified.
