Rožaj settlements will soon get water
Residents of the Radetina local community, on the territory of the Rožaje municipality, will receive water from the Paučinska vrela spring at the beginning of next month, while in the first days of September, water from the Ćosovska vrela spring will also flow to the residents of the Sređane and Klanac local communities.
"With the completion of the works on the 12-kilometer long water pipeline, for which the Public Works Administration signed a contract with the Bijelo Polska company 'Unipred', about 150 households from the Radetina area will solve the issue of water supply throughout the year," the announcement states.
The water supply network for the residents of Sređan and Klanc is six kilometers long, and the contractor is "Indel Inženjering" from Podgorica.
"In the past three years, the construction of the catchment and chlorination station at Ćosovski vreli, the construction of the eight-kilometer primary pipeline, as well as the distribution pipeline in Gornja and Donja Lovnica, Ćosovica and Ramovići, with a total length of about 12 kilometers, was completed," said the Administration. .
The contracted value of the current works on the water supply network in Rožaj settlements, as they state, is close to 1.8 million euros, which the Government of Montenegro provided from the capital budget.
The complete procedure of public procurement and the introduction of contractors into the work was carried out by the Public Works Administration.
