The local administration of Rožaje, as well as its citizens, are deeply concerned about the unfortunate event that happened in our municipality in the previous days.

Any disputes and disagreements should be resolved in a dignified manner while respecting the maxim "when you talk to each other, talk in the best possible way, and never with arguments and weapons that endanger people's lives".

I recommend to the parties to the dispute that they and their parents through peace and dialogue overcome this unpleasant situation, which should end in a humane way, and that they ask each other for forgiveness and reconciliation.

The local administration appeals to state authorities, and especially to the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Security Department, to make every effort to prevent conflict, and especially behavior that endangers people's lives and their property.

We believe that those responsible in the Security Department should have reacted more effectively and prevented such unpleasant events from occurring.

I also appeal to the prosecutor's office to be more professional in such cases and to act in accordance with the law, all in order to protect our citizens.
