Last night, the exhibition of Amira Nurković's paintings was officially opened as part of the Diaspora Day Manifestation

As part of the Days of the Diaspora Manifestation, a rich cultural program was prepared in Rožaje, and the opening of an exhibition of paintings by Amira Nurković attracted the attention of the political and intellectual core of our municipality.

Amira Nurković is recognized as a top artist and her activities have gained a lot of attention from art lovers, especially in the part of making different designs on scarves and scarves, and last night she showed herself to the Rožaj audience as a top artist in painting.

Amira Nurković likes to say that she is an ordinary woman, she proudly emphasizes that she is a housewife, and every now and then, in a motherly way, she mentions her children. Beautiful and elegant, yet so cheerful and tame, our real one A Bosnian woman who can do anything, and it stands firmly on the ground.

"It's never too late", she says. She started painting 5-6 years ago when she decided to try s oil on canvas. She was not aware of this gift from God until then, but she always had a love for fine arts and was delighted with colors. "If dear God wanted everything to be uniform, he would not have created colors and an infinite number of combinations of those colors", she says. Painting came in handy to supplement her free time, especially when she became aware of her loneliness while her husband and now grown three sons were away from home. She felt that the work in and around the house was not enough for her, and she was striving more and more for something that would relax and rest her, something that she would truly enjoy. With the support of her family, she found what she loves and is happy that her day is filled with something that works for love. He points out that by painting a person learns patience, "trains" his nerves, he is calm. He believes that everyone can find something that will relax him and emphasizes that everyone needs something like that, especially in this modern and post-war period.
