Snowboard camp

Under the slopes of Hajla, the first snowboard camp in the region was organized in the "Grope" mountain lodge.

Camp participants were snowboarders from Tivat, Ulcinj, Podgorica, Nikšić, as well as the hosts and organizers of the Camp Snowboard Club "Jump".

The camp consisted of three days of life on the mountain. On the first day, a hike was organized from the village of Banžov to the "Grope" mountain lodge. On the second day, snowboarders climbed to the place "Brahim brijeg", where an unforgettable freeride ride awaited them. After arriving in Grope, the participants tried out the snowboard park and showed that Montenegrin snowboarders have competitive qualities. This also sends a message that it is necessary to valorize and promote this Olympic sport, as well as the mountains that abound in various freeride terrains, with snow that promises a long winter season.
On the third day, a freeride descent from "Brahim brijeg" to the village of Banžov was also organized. Transportation from Rožaj to the village of Banžov, food and drinks were free for all participants.

The organizers tried their best to make their stay on the mountain as nice and pleasant as possible, so among other things, parties and fireworks were organized in front of the mountain lodge "Grope" in honor of the first snowboard camp in the region.

The organizer of the Camp is the Snowboard Club "Jump", the technical organizer is the Mountaineering Ski Club "Hajla", the sponsor is the Municipality of Rožaje, and the sponsors were the Rožaje Culture Center, Rožaje PUC, Rožaje Waterworks and Sewerage, Rožaje Memidž, Rožaje Vetprom and the Pogled Mountaineering Club.
