The group visited the premises of the school, the multimedia classroom, which is equipped with resources from the Council of Europe project, presented projects and exchanged experiences and information related to achievements within inclusive policy, practice and culture, because inclusion, among other things, means providing all children with the opportunity to be successful.
As part of the visit, they also visited important cultural and historical destinations: Stari most, Blagajska tekija, the old town of Počitelj and Karađoz - the bey's madrasa, the oldest educational institution in Herzegovina. This visit is also significant because a long-term cooperation with this school has been agreed upon, within the framework of which their visit to the school "Mustafa Pećanin" and the municipality of Rožaje is planned for the following year.
This is one of the series of activities of the Elementary School "Mustafa Pećanin" which were carried out within the school project "Social inclusion - an opportunity for learning" during the 2014/15 school year. years. Equipping the "Inclusion" classroom, workshops for students and parents, quizzes and games without borders, sewing, knitting and weaving courses, media presentation and presentation of the project, consulting and connecting with schools from Montenegro and the region are the activities that have been implemented so far as the school would create conditions for achieving the set goal, involving parents, students and the local community in the work of the school.
This project helped the school to build better capacities and opportunities so that the SCHOOL ADAPTS TO THE STUDENT, NOT THE STUDENT TO THE SCHOOL.
