All machines of JKP Rožaje are on the field and work 24 hours a day

Due to the intense snowfall in the territory of the Municipality of Rožaje, traffic has been hampered, as well as suspensions at short intervals in some settlements and local communities.

From the Public Utility Company Rožaje, they sincerely apologize to the citizens for the new situation and ask for their patience. With the cessation of snowfall, the maintenance and cleaning of large amounts of snow is somewhat easier. Among other things, they emphasize that the situation is mobile and that all the machines at the disposal of PUK Rožaje are active 24 hours a day and are in the field.

It is not possible to clean the city center and 66 settlements in a short period of time if we take into account that oil freezes on large areas and that ice deposits cause other technical damage to snow removal vehicles, which slows down work in the field.

PUK Rožaje is making every effort to ensure that, first of all, the roads to all settlements are paved and passable, and in the following cleaning actions they are widened.
