Ceremonially opened primary school in Grahovo
In the local community of Grahovo, near Rožaj, with the presence of dignitaries and citizens, a five-year primary school was officially opened, which for now will be attended by 15 students of this local community.
The facility was built with the joint funds of the local administration of Rožaje and the International Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination, TIKA. The school was jointly opened by: TIKA officials with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey and the mayor of the municipality, Ejup Nurkovović, and the director of the primary school in Balotići, Mr. Rahman Husović, under whose regional unit the newly opened school in Grahovo belongs.
The school meets all modern standards and belongs to modern educational institutions with all facilities.
It is worth emphasizing that 15 students will be able to attend classes up to the fifth year of primary education, in their hometown, which in many ways facilitates conditions for both students and their parents.
The president of the municipality emphasized that investing in education is the only safe and valuable asset for a secure future. If we provide good conditions for education, we show that we value our children and youth, and I am convinced that when they get an education, they will know how to benefit their family, their hometown and their city in the best way. He expressed his special gratitude to the officials of TIKA, who helped Rožaje with enviable means for the umpteenth time.
