Ceremony on the occasion of a collective wedding in Rožaje
In the organization of the Mešihat of the Islamic Community in Montenegro, and in cooperation with the Mehir Vakif organization from Turkey, a ceremony was held in Rozaje on February 14, 2014 in the Great Hall of the Cultural Center on the occasion of a collective wedding. Mehir Vakif helped and donated household items for twenty-five newly formed families in Montenegro. This valuable donation is the beginning and the first concretely implemented project, and the cooperation between the two institutions will continue to bear fruit again, inshallah.
Members of the board of directors of the organization attended the ceremony in front of the Mehir Vakif organization in Rožaje:Ismail Haki Su, Hazir Dogru, Sureya Gezinci, Ali Koseoglu and Mustafa Oflas, they expressed satisfaction with the successfully implemented hairli project and promised continued cooperation. At the ceremony, they also awarded posters of thanks to Mešihat, Reis of IZ in Montenegro, Rifatu ef. Fejzic, director of the Zakat Foundation, Sadmir Hadzijić, to the President of the Municipality of Rožaje Ejup Nurković, and to the chief imam of OIZ Rožaje, To Rayhan Hott.
The meeting was started by the recitation of the Qur'an by the director of the Madrasah "Mehmed Fatih". Rahman ef. Kachar, and in front of the OIZ Rožaje, the chief imam of the Board of the Islamic Community greeted the attendees, while the President of the Municipality of Rožaje also sent a message to the attendees and especially the travelers for further assistance and investment in our city.
Choir of the madrasa "Mehmed Fatih" beautified the gathering with a beautiful rendition of ilahi and qasida, in our language as well as in Turkish.
Reis Rifat ef. Fejzić focused his address on the institution of marriage, on the importance of forming a family and on our beautiful Islamic tradition that we have inherited in these areas since time immemorial. He thanked the donors and visitors, and praised the state of Turkey, which, as he said; is almost the only bright spot in the Islamic world today. And one of the indicators of their specialness is that they take care of us here and our needs. He sent prayers to God for progress and prosperity for Turkey and for all those who set aside part of their wealth for the needs of other Muslims in the world, including ours.
He also awarded plaques of appreciation to the guests and invited them to continue with such and similar projects. He also awarded a plaque of thanks to the president of Merhamet, dr. Amer Halilović.
After the program, the prayer for hairli marriage was studied by the head of the religious and educational service of Mešihat in Montenegro. Ennis ef. Burdžović.
After the program in the Divanhana of the Central Mosque, the guests presented the young married couples with some of the jewelry in addition to the previously presented household goods.
