The Turkish Agency for International Cooperation and Development "Tika" presented a donation in Rožaje
The state-of-the-art ambulance and SUV were given to the Health Center and OB
In the presence of a large number of citizens, representatives of the local administration, employees of the health and police administration, the director of the health center, Dr. Hajran Kalač, was handed the keys to the ambulance, which is equipped with the most modern medical equipment for that purpose, by the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Montenegro, Serhat Galip, while Mustafa Jazidža, coordinator of Tika in Montenegro, handed over the keys to the modern SUV to Sadik Šabanović, head of the Rožaj OB. The total value of the donation is around 100,000 euros.
Thanking for the valuable donation, the mayor of the municipality, Ejup Nurković, reminded of the numerous donations that the Turkish people sent to the citizens of Rožaj through "Tika".
From the founding of "Tika" until today, donations worth over two million euros have been handed over to Rožaj. Today we spoke with Mr. Yazidjijem and Mr. Galip and informed them that we applied with several projects at "Tika". Among them are the kindergarten and the reconstruction of the Municipality building, which will be treated this year and next year. In this sense, we expect a positive outcome. We also agreed to more intensively develop cooperation in the field of economy, so we expect Turkish companies to be more present in Rožaje and in Montenegro, said Nurković. Mr. Jazidži said that Tika is present in almost all Montenegrin cities and will continue to finance good projects that will contribute to raising the standard of living of citizens in Montenegro.
- Rožaje has a very important place for us. Our goal is to improve the general standard of the population and somehow improve their living conditions. "Tika" is located in all cities of Montenegro. Last year, through donations, we built a madrasa in Rožaje, renovated several mosques, and other infrastructure projects. Our help will be at your service in the future as well - said Jazidji.
Amasador Serhat Galip expressed his satisfaction with the good relations his country has with Montenegro and the activities of Tika.
- Very hardworking and honest people of Rožaj, I am very glad to be in Montenegro and in your city today to convey greetings from Turkey. Help in every aspect is very important for the stability of a country, and Turkey is a lucky country that can help - said Galip.
Sadik Šabanović, the head of OB Rožaje, as well as the director of the Health Center, Dr. Hajran Kalač, thanked for the donation.
Šabanović noted that this is not the first donation to the Police Station in Rožaje. This vehicle will be at the service of our citizens and will be used for a purpose. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Police Directorate cooperates with colleagues from Turkey who have helped us in many ways, all in the interest of the citizens of Rožaj and Montenegro - said Šabanović.
Kalač also recalled numerous donations from "Tike", which improved the working conditions of the employees at the Health Center as well as for the patients.
- Five years ago, "Tika" equipped the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department with all the equipment, and some construction work was also done. They also equipped the eye clinic with the most modern equipment. We are extremely grateful for the new vehicle that has all the modern equipment - said Kalač.
