The Turkish-Bosnian-Sandzak Association from Bajrampaša donated protective medical equipment to Rožaje
The Turkish-Bosnian-Sandzak association from Istanbul's Bajrampaşa municipality donated protective medical equipment worth 30,000 euros to the Rožajs.
On this occasion, today in the Rožaj Health Center, a handover of the donation was held, to which, in addition to the director of that health care facility, Dr. Jaha Pepić the President of the Municipality also attended Rahman Husovic with associates and the president and chief imam of the Majlis of the Islamic community in Rožaje Ernad ef. Ramovic and Reyhan ef. Hot.
During his public address, President Husović thanked the president and vice president of the Turkish-Bosnian-Sandzak Association. Muhammed Sandjakli and Hilmi Erdem whose origin is from Rožaj, as well as their collaborators, in what he considered to be a brotherly and humane gesture that is another indicator of lasting friendship between the Turkish and Rožaj peoples."I was very touched by the concern of our friends for us even in these difficult times when the number of infected people is increasing day by day. The donation, which is reflected in various types of medical equipment, came to us at the right time and it is a reflection of our sincere wishes to protect our citizens from the virus. On behalf of the entire local community, I sincerely thank all the actors involved in the realization of this good work.", President Husović added.
The director of the Health Center, Dr. Jaho Pepić, also thanked the donors and expressed his satisfaction that he is at the head of a health institution whose employees during the covid crisis showed, as he said, a high degree of responsibility and commitment when providing assistance to citizens in the fight against infection, and he pointed out that he especially it makes me happy that they are not alone in the period of the hardest struggle. "We have people who follow our work and understand our sacrifice. This donation will be an additional motivation for us to be of service to every person and to continue to vigilantly monitor the health condition of our fellow citizens. In addition, I want to tell the public that all employees at the Health Center will continue to be engaged in full capacity so that health care is available to every person. That's what they promised me and the citizens," said Dr. Pepić.
The chief imam of the Majlis of the Islamic Community in Rozaje, Rejhan ef. Hot said that he is glad that the Islamic community is part of another good and humane story and that their goal is to continuously contribute to providing support to people in the field of overcoming the negative consequences of the corona virus. Efendija Hot expressed his sincere gratitude to the donors, noting that charity unites people and makes the community resistant to all the troubles that come across.
The protective medical equipment that arrived in Rožaje from Bajrampaša was distributed to local institutions, and a significant amount was allocated for the needs of the Health Center and the Emergency Medical Service. Representatives Majlis of the Islamic Community - Rožaje they received a thank you note on behalf of the donor.
As part of the same humanitarian action, protective medical equipment was distributed to institutions in Novi Pazar, Tutin, Sjenica, Prijepolje, Priboj and Nova Varoš.
