July 13, Statehood Day, was celebrated in Rožaje

July 13, the Statehood Day of Montenegro, was marked by laying wreaths on the monument to the fallen fighters of the National Liberation War in Rožaje.

The wreath was laid by the President of the Municipal Assembly Almir Avdić, Vice President of the Municipality Ismet Kalač, Head of the Cabinet of the President of the Municipality Emir Kuč, Advisor in the Cabinet Amel Šahić and Secretary of the Secretariat for Local Self-Government Hamdo Šutković

Together with the delegations of the Municipality and the Municipal Assembly, representatives of UBNOR and anti-fascists Rožaj laid the wreath.

On July 13, 1878, at the Congress of Berlin, Montenegro was recognized as an independent state, and on the same date in 1941, the uprising against fascism began.
