That the evil of fascism never happens again

On the occasion of May 9, the Day of Victory over Fascism, in Rožaje, the highest local officials, headed by the representatives of the Municipal Board of SUBNOR and anti-fascists and scouts, laid a wreath on the monument to the fighters of NOR. Addressing the audience, the president of OO SUBNOR and anti-fascists Husein Nurković said that May 9 is an extremely significant date for all nations in the world, because it symbolizes the victory over destructive forces.

- Fascism is an evil that was born in the 20th century and which the people of Montenegro also tasted. This is an opportunity to remember the time when the fighters of these regions laid down their lives for freedom. It is up to us to work to preserve the ideals for which they died and to follow the path of European anti-fascist values - said Nurković.
