In Rožaje, a Covid department has been opened, certain measures will also be lifted
President of the Municipality Rahman Husovic he spoke with a member of the Parliament of Montenegro Ervin Ibrahimović and a doctor Cena Kajević about the current epidemiological situation and new life circumstances in Rožaje.
At the beginning of the conversation, President Husović thanked Deputy Ibrahimović and Doctor Kajević for, as he said, the interest in the health and living conditions of the citizens of Rožaj that they show every day, as well as for their willingness to provide local self-government with support in overcoming the consequences of the corona virus.
He pointed out that the Municipal Protection and Rescue Team controls the implementation of NCT measures and that all those responsible are working day and night to prevent the further spread of the infection, adding that he is encouraged by the fact that the number of infected people in Rožaje is decreasing and that he hopes that this trend will continue .
MP Ibrahimović concluded that in Rožaje the recommendations of the authorities are followed and that a high degree of responsibility towards preventive measures has been demonstrated. He also said that he hopes that the number of infected people will decrease in the coming days and that the measures related to leaving residential buildings and inter-municipal passenger and public traffic will cease to apply during this week.
Dr. Cena Kajević pointed out the importance of preventive action when it comes to stopping the spread of infection and emphasized that wearing protective masks along with physical and social distance, personal and collective hygiene prevents the transmission of the virus.
He also said that the internal department of the Rožaj Health Center has been converted into a Covid ward with a capacity of 20 beds, and that it will treat patients from the territory of Rožaj with a milder clinical picture, including those who were previously placed in the General Hospital in Berane. . According to him, 10 patients were admitted to that department today.
Dr. Kajević once again called on the citizens to react promptly if they feel the symptoms of Kovid 19 by contacting the epidemiological team at the Health Center so that, if the infection is confirmed, they can be provided with therapy.
