WARNING AND SANCTIONS FOR ILLEGAL PARKING BEGAN IN ROŽAJE

Today, members of the council for improving traffic safety, together with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and members of the NGO sector from Rožaj, carried out an action to warn drivers who park their cars improperly and in that way obstruct the smooth flow of traffic and especially endanger the movement of pedestrians and further expose them to danger.

A few days ago, due to increasingly frequent complaints from citizens, the local administration, in cooperation with its secretariats and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, formed a council to improve traffic safety in Rožaje in order to solve this problem at least to some extent.

Considering that Rožaje has enough parking spaces, which in addition to municipal parking spaces also include private parking lots, according to officials, in the future, all drivers who leave their cars outside of properly monitored places and parking lots will be fined.

The citizens of Rožaj welcome this action and hope that it will not stop until they acquire habits and establish traffic order and discipline in the already narrow roads.
