In Rožaje, the ban on leaving a residential building has been relaxed
NKT: Masks both outdoors and indoors, further restrictions on public gatherings throughout Montenegro, relaxed measures for certain municipalities
Today, at the proposal of the Institute for Public Health of Montenegro, the National Coordinating Body for Infectious Diseases (NCB) decided to re-declare an epidemic of an infectious disease of the new coronavirus on the entire national territory. Starting tomorrow, a number of new temporary measures will be introduced with the aim of further preventing the spread of the new coronavirus, while at the same time easing the measures in certain municipalities where the epidemiological risk is reduced.
Measures for the whole of Montenegro
Wearing protective masks outdoors and indoors is mandatory throughout the territory of Montenegro, including children over 7 years old, except on beaches and in national parks, provided that physical distance and previously prescribed measures are observed.
Gathering of persons is restricted throughout the state territory to a maximum of 40 people in open public places, and to 20 people in closed ones, with the obligation to respect a physical distance of at least two meters. (This obligation does not apply to residential buildings.)
Because of the extremely high epidemiological risk carried by certain groups it was extended until August 6 application of the following measures adopted on June 30:
1. Prohibition of operation of disco clubs/bars and night clubs/bars, i
2. Prohibition of organizing weddings, graduations, birthdays and other private celebrations
It was extended until July 30 application of measures adopted on July 7 which:
- Forbids maintenance of an entertainment and music program in catering establishments (restaurants, cafes, cafeterias, hotel restaurants and similar catering facilities), including beach bars (concerts, live performances by musicians and bands, live performances by DJs, etc.).
- Terminates the work of first-level social-medical commissions in the field of social and child protection in centers for social work.
Some special measures for certain municipalities have been eased
The special measures that were declared in certain municipalities in the Northern region are being eased in the municipalities as well Andrijevica, Plav and Gusinje by enabling performance catering activities in catering establishments (restaurants, cafes, cafeterias, hotel restaurants and similar catering facilities) in these three municipalities from 06:00 to 22:00 - under the same conditions and in the same way as it is already regulated in the Capital City of Podgorica, the Capital City of Cetinje and in the Municipality of Nikšić.
U Municipality of Rožaje the ban on leaving the accommodation facility is relaxed. Instead of the previous measure, which allowed movement from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the measure is being relaxed so that movement allowed from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Both measures apply until July 30.
Stricter measures for catering establishments in certain municipalities
The measures that prescribed the operation of catering establishments in the Capital City of Podgorica, the Capital City of Cetinje and the Municipality of Nikšić - are mandatory from today and in the municipalities of Plužine, Žabljak, Šavnik, Danilovgrad, Tuzi, Kolašin, Mojkovac, Andrijevica, Plav and Gusinje.
Companies, other legal entities and entrepreneurs who perform catering activities in catering establishments (restaurants, cafes, cafeterias, hotel restaurants and similar catering establishments) are obliged to organize their work in such a way that:
- a maximum of two guests sit at the table inside the catering facility, or four guests on the terrace/garden of this facility;
- disable self-service, waiting and standing in front of the bar;
- ensure a distance of at least 2m between tables, in accordance with the recommendations of the Institute for Public Health of Montenegro;
- ensure regular maintenance of hygiene and disinfection of common rooms, furniture, equipment, etc., in accordance with the recommendations of the Institute for Public Health of Montenegro.
In the mentioned municipalities, the measure is applied until July 30.
Extended application of measures for individual municipalities
It was extended until July 30 application of measure zprohibition of performing catering activities in catering establishments (restaurants, cafes, cafeterias, hotel restaurants and similar catering facilities) including the provision of catering services at swimming pools and beaches:
- In the municipalities: Berane, Bijelo Polje, Petnjica, Pljevlja and Rožaje,
- From 24:00 to 06:00 the next day in the municipalities: Bar, Budva, Herceg Novi, Kotor, Tivat and Ulcinj.
- From 22:00 to 6:00 the next day in the capital Podgorica, the capital Cetinje and the municipalities: Nikšić, Danilovgrad, Tuzi, Kolašin, Mojkovac, Žabljak, Šavnik and Plužine. The same measures apply to the municipalities of Andrijevica, Plav and Gusinje.
The ban on road transport of passengers from the Municipality of Rožaje and to the Municipality of Rožaje has been extended until July 30, except for transportation for the purpose of performing regular work activities, providing emergency health services and other urgent tasks, while taking the prescribed protection measures.
Documents for foreigners are valid until October 7
Application of the measure by which state bodies, state administration bodies, local self-government bodies and local administration bodies, companies, public institutions and other legal entities, entrepreneurs and natural persons were obliged to issue permanent residence permits, temporary residence permits and temporary residence permits and the work of foreigners whose validity period has expired, on the basis of which they exercise a right or fulfill an obligation before those authorities, are considered valid until September 30, it has been extended until October 7, 2020.
Measures, the application of which has been extended for a certain period of time, may be reconsidered after the expiration of the specified periods and their application may be extended again.
