Soon the Center for children without parental care in Rožaje
Today, December 26, 2014, a meeting was held with the delegation of the Turkish Municipality of Umraniya, the third largest municipality in Istanbul, in the Office of the President of the Municipality, Ejup Nurković.
After the visit of the President of the Municipality of Rožaje to Turkey, the cooperation between our municipality and Turkish municipalities was strengthened.
Given that thirty children without parental care reside in orphanages outside our municipality, there is a great need for such a facility in our municipality as well.
The municipality of Rožaje created a conceptual project for the Center for children without parental care, which was presented today to the delegation from the municipality of Umraniya, who are interested in building accommodation for 70 children without parental care.
"The President of the Municipality of Rožaje informed the local authority of the Municipality of Umraniya that there is a need to build a shelter for children without parental care in Rožaje, presenting information about the condition of children from the Municipality of Rožaje who stay in orphanages in other cities. As you know, our country deals with social policy outside the borders of Turkey, so the Fashion Center in Bosnia and Herzegovina has almost opened, and now we will be present in such programs in Montenegro as well. This project has also earned our attention, so we are glad to be able to help in this way. We hope that it will make life easier for children without parents, so that they have normal conditions for a comfortable upbringing. The project envisages equipped rooms, kitchen, offices and reading rooms for children with a complete inventory. We are satisfied with the project that the Municipality of Rožaje presented in such a short period of time, we will certainly do other projects as well, in order to be in a situation to choose the most suitable facility and provide the best conditions for the children." Mahmut EMİNMOLLAOĞLU, Deputy President of Umraniya Municipality, said in an interview.

The center for children without parental care is an extremely important project for our municipality, thank you for having the sense to help us. I see this meeting as the beginning of cooperation between the two municipalities, which will be enhanced with future projects. The local self-government of the Municipality of Rožaje is a sincere friend of the Turkish people and your reliable partner. As we said in earlier conversations, the Center for Children Without Parental Care will be exempt from all taxes and will have all benefits and a free location. We will try to help you to the best of our ability, so that the building will be completed as soon as possible." pointed out the President of the Municipality of Rožaje, Mr. Ejup Nurković.
