EXTRAORDINARY SESSION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROŽAJE

At the honorable session of the SO Rožaje, by the votes of the DPS and BS councilors, decisions were adopted on the reduction of the fee for communal development and the sale of over 4,000 square meters of land in Street "30. September". The SDP councilors remained restrained, despite the fact that all local politicians assessed that this is a project whose realization is beneficial for Rožaje in many ways, especially if you take into account that behind it is an investor with good references "with whom all Montenegrins would be happy to cooperate municipalities".

When asked by the opposition councilors whether the sale of the land is being carried out in accordance with the law, since no public auction has been announced, the President of the Municipality, Nusret Kalač, explained that the legal basis in this business is indisputable and that it is a matter of completing the plot, which does not imply a public tender.

The subject of the extraordinary session of the local parliament was the sale of land whose current owners are ZZ "Agrobisernica" and the Municipality of Rožaje to the company "Elkos", which plans to build a modern shopping center with accompanying facilities on that devastated plot, and employ between 30 and 50 people. Considering that "Agrobisernica", which currently owns eight-fifteenths of the land, offers a square meter at a price of 7.5 thousand euros, and a potential buyer wants to pay seven thousand per square meter, the Local Administration decided to reduce the utility fee to "Elkos" by 20 thousand euros. space arrangement.
