Evening of Rozaj culture in Sarajevo
An Evening of Rožaj culture was held at the Bosnian Cultural Center as a gift to the city of Sarajevo on the occasion of the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is celebrated on November 25.
The President of the Municipality, Rahman Husović, addressed the audience and said that he is proud of the people from Rožaj who live in Sarajevo because they contribute to social progress in BiH with their knowledge and effort, and said that Bosniaks in Montenegro and in Bosnia and Herzegovina are bound together by unbreakable cultural, religious, family and friendship ties.
The evening of Rožaje culture was organized by the Association of Citizens from Sandžak in cooperation with the Municipality of Rožaje and the Rožaje Cultural Center.
On this occasion, the SEDEF Association presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the Municipality of Rožaje for accepting and helping refugees from BiH during the 1992-1995 war.
The gathering was attended by BiH Minister of Security Selmo Cikotić, Colonel General Senad Mašković, President of the Islamic Community in Montenegro, Rifat ef. Fejzić, Minister of Culture and Sports Samir Avdić, Minister of Education Naida Hoti Muminović, Rector of the University of Sarajevo Rifat Škrijelj, academics Abdulah Sidran and Ejup Ganić as well as many representatives of cultural and public life in BiH and numerous citizens.
