WATER FOR 150 HOUSES

If the agreement between the local administration and the residents of Seosnica is respected, the issue of water supply for about 150 households should be resolved in that village by September 30, the Municipality Day.
The president of the MZ Seošnica, Safet Nurković, said that the problem of water supply has been particularly pronounced in that village for the last five or six years.

"The expansion of the village significantly reduced the capacity of the existing water supply system, so we were often faced with big problems, especially in the summer. We had to pay for cisterns, which was a big expense for a poor village where most of the locals lost their jobs due to the closing of the factories and feed themselves from animal husbandry and farming. "We addressed a request for help to the President of the Municipality, Nusret Kalač, who visited us and promised that the local administration, in cooperation with the relevant ministry, would help to solve the problem," said Nurković.

He added that 15,000 euros have already been transferred from the municipal coffers for the realization of that project, and that the start of work is expected after the completion of mowing and other works in the field.

Nurković reminded that the water supply was brought to the village and that now it is necessary to work on its secondary part, for which the locals were in charge, but they had no money.

"The municipality has decided to meet us, so we expect that everything will be fine, because with the completion of this project, we will solve the pressing problem for 150 households," said Nurković.
According to him, the locals are especially grateful to the President of the Municipality for not paying attention to the political commitment of the residents of Seosnica.

"It is known that DPS did not get a majority here. For this reason, it is commendable that the local administration decided to help us, and the president showed that he takes care of all citizens, regardless of their political affiliation," believes Nurković.

It was announced from the office of the President of the Municipality of Rožaje that the local administration and the Government of Montenegro, by rebuilding the Malisorsko vrelo water supply system, which solved the issue of water supply for about 450 households, long ago fulfilled their obligation to the locals, who were supposed to finance the secondary part of the water supply system, i.e. to bring the water to the houses .
"Some households have already received water and are using it, but, unfortunately, we had certain villages and hamlets where citizens could not pay their obligations due to a very difficult economic situation. Appreciating that moment, and knowing what water means, especially when it comes to rural areas, we responded to the request of the residents of the Municipal Municipality of Seošnica and decided to help them", said the office of the President of the Municipality.

For the completion of the project in Seošnica, about 55,000 euros are needed, of which the Municipality will allocate 30,000, and the rest will be tried to be provided through the line ministry.
