The water supply in Radetina will solve the issue of water supply for more than 80 households
Work has been intensified on the water supply system in the village of Radetina, which will supply drinking water to more than 80 households. The project is financed by the Directorate of Public Works of Montenegro, and is worth around 300,000 euros.
Almer Kalač, director of the Directorate, says that it was necessary, from the aspect of his position, to make a certain effort in order to start implementing this investment, the initiative of which was initiated by the Rožaj local self-government.
He explains that the water supply in this local community includes work on installations from the source of the Soha to the village center in a length of about 12 kilometers.
"The project envisages the construction of a modern water supply system, which should solve the issue of water supply in a high-quality way," Kalač added.
If the works proceed as planned, he expects that households in this village will receive water from the primary pipeline already this year.
The goal of this project is to create adequate conditions for a more advanced life of the locals, but also for the development of agriculture, because the area of Radetina is recognizable for its huge potential for the development of animal husbandry and agriculture. The inhabitants of this village will finally solve the problem of lack of water, which was threatening their basic life activities, after the water supply system has been upgraded.
