At the 14th regular session of the local parliament, which was held today, the rebalancing of the Budget for 2012 was adopted. Based on the changes and additions, around 230,000 euros less than planned will flow into the local coffers. The reduced inflow into the municipal budget was influenced by the bad and unstable economic situation, and to a large extent by the weak collection from concessions that did not take place in accordance with the plan. The deficit in the treasury will be compensated with around 220 thousand euros from European funds, so the actual deficit will amount to around 10,000 euros. So Rožaje will be one of the few Montenegrin municipalities that will not have a deficit in the Budget, which is projected at around 4.3 million euros.

The decision on rebalancing was supported by DPS councilors, and the opposition in the local parliament voted against it. The representatives of SDP and BS objected that, in their opinion, the Budget is small, as well as that the money is being spent in a non-transparent manner.

The President of the Municipality, Nusret Kalač, agreed that the Budget is small, but that it is only realistic as such, in times of economic crisis. He pointed out that the local administration treats money from the Municipal treasury in a domestic and rational manner, which is indicated by the indisputable facts that Rožaje is a financially very stable Municipality.

Kalač reminded that local governments are not in charge of building factories and companies, but rather create the most favorable conditions for entrepreneurship. In that part, Rožajska is the only municipality in Montenegro that reduced fees for projects in the field of tourism and agriculture by 70 percent.

Local politicians adopted the plan for the construction of temporary facilities for 2013, as well as the annual report on the state of spatial planning for this year and the one-year spatial planning program for the coming year.

The councilors of Rožaj accepted the dismissal of the member of the Committee for Election and Appointment, and the chairman of the Committee for Statute and Regulations. Both positions were covered by Hamid Kujević, who was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Insurance Supervision Agency. Mehmed Husović was appointed as a new member of the Selection and Appointment Committee. Bešir Kajević was elected president of the Committee for Statute and Regulations, and Ago Agović was elected as a member.

The local parliament stated that councilor Almer Kalač (BS) resigned from that position due to leaving for a new position. At the next session of the SO, the mandate of the councilor who will take Kalač's place will be verified.
