XXII regular session of the Rožaje Municipality Assembly

After an almost five-hour discussion, within the XXII regular session of the local parliament, the proposal of the Decision on amendments to the Decision on the Budget of the Municipality of Rožaje for 2013 was adopted, while the other agenda items, planned for this session, were postponed until Thursday.

The processor of the material, the Secretary of the Secretariat for Economy and Finance, Mevljuda Cikotić, explained that the reason for the rebalancing is the credit debt of the Municipality of about 1.2 million euros, needed for the construction of the primary city water supply. The rebalanced budget amounts to EUR 5,471,850 and is about 23 percent higher than the planned one.

The President of the Municipality, Nusret Kalač, said that the rebalancing of the Budget would most likely not have happened if there had not been a loan for the construction of the primary city water supply system, which speaks in favor of the fact that the local administration planned the basic Budget well.

In the continuation of the XXII regular session, planned for Thursday, the local councilors will consider information on the state of security in the municipality of Rožaje, the report on the work of the JU Center for Social Work for 2012, the report on the work of the Rožaje Health Center for 2012, information on the operations of the Administration for the forests of PJ Rožaje for the year 2012 and the proposal for the Decision on the allocation of land for free use.
