Rehabilitation and cleaning of the site in the municipality of Rožaje has begun
The PUC with the work unit Zelenilo started the rehabilitation and improvement of space in the municipality of Rožaje on November 3, 2014. So far, the sites under the bridge in Sarajevska Street, the pedestrian path from the gas station to Ibarska Street, the green areas under Kučanki Groblje have been rehabilitated and cleaned, vegetation and garbage in Klekovača, as well as other sites in the center of the municipality, have been removed. Even though Montenegro has been declared an ecological country, so far in our municipality this has not been taken into account. Overgrown and unkempt green areas, embankments on footpaths and vegetation from which you could not even see the lights are just some of the problems that need to be solved as soon as possible. Manholes without covers on footpaths posed a great danger to citizens, especially to schoolchildren.
Adem Dedeić started this process with a lot of love for his municipality, and he sees landscaping as an art and dedicates himself to it completely. Rožaje will be a municipality with landscaped greenery, prepared for tourist offers in the coming year. The areas that have now been cleaned already in the spring will be properly greened, with full rows of trees, seasonal flowers and various plants.
"Within my jurisdiction, I can say that a systematic solution to problems in such locations has begun in the field of rehabilitation and preservation of all locations in our city, and this is only the initial step on that path. Greenery represents the image of our city, and nature is something that everyone encounters when entering our city, thus the role of PUK with the Greenery work unit is great, because our greenness is an indicator of our attitude towards the environment and European values, which enhance the development of this area," he said. we found Adem Dedeić, the officer for landscaping, on the field.
We are working on the creation of project sketches and documentation that will be applied to European funds, which are generous in this area, and the funds are non-refundable. Citizens also play a big role in preserving our city, so they are asked to preserve a healthy environment and dispose of garbage in the designated places.
