Živković and Kalač announced projects worth 4 million euros
Today, the director of the Directorate of Public Works, Mr. Žarko Živković, paid an official visit to the Municipality of Rožaje, who spoke with the President of the Municipality, Nusret Kalač, and his associates.
The topic of the meeting was the realization of nine projects in Rožaje that will be financed this year in the amount of 4,000,000.00 euros, of which the Directorate of Public Works will allocate 2,120,000.00 euros.
Among the planned investments, the capital project for the development of agriculture is the construction of the Ćosovsko vrelo waterworks, for which €550,000.00 has been allocated, and for which the tender will be announced at the beginning of next week.
Carine Street will also be built, worth around €500,000.00. For this work, €200,000.00 will be allocated from the Capital Budget and €300,000.00 from the local treasury.
We will build rural roads with a length of 2.5 kilometers, one kilometer of which is in Bukovica and 1.5 kilometers in Honsići. The municipality undertook to build another kilometer of road in Honsići and thus bring asphalt to the center of the village.
At the beginning of the summer, work will begin on the construction of a modern road to Hajla, which will cost €400,000.00. Project documentation for that project is currently being prepared.
At the beginning of April, it is expected to receive a construction permit, as well as the continuation or start of work on the gymnasium of the elementary school "Bać" and the day center for children with special needs. The facilities will be completed this year.
This year, we will also build a pedestrian path from Kalač to Koljen, for which project documentation is being prepared.
During today's visit, Živković and Kalač toured the works on the right side of Rifat Burdžević Street. As part of the first phase, the final works on the construction of fecal and storm sewers and the underground installation of public lighting are underway at that location, after which the street will be ready for asphalting.
They also toured Carine Street, whose work is expected to begin at the beginning of May.
